Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team. This role is pivotal in designing, architecting, and supporting systems, services, and applications that encompass security, infrastructure, networking, cloud, platform, DevOps, and AI solutions on a global scale for a large multi-national company.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects, software/data/cloud engineers, and product owners in an agile environment to create solution architecture designs for cloud and on-premises technology solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
• Construct architectural artifacts supporting robust, reusable, scalable, and secure technology solutions, leveraging approved component architecture standards, architectural patterns, and reference architectures.
• Design APIs and data delivery services to support critical operational processes, analytical models, and machine learning applications.
• Adhere to best practices for creating and delivering technology artifacts throughout the IT solution delivery lifecycle, and serve as an architecture advisor and validator during the build, test, validate, deploy, and operate stages.
• Stay updated with the latest advances in solution architecture, rapidly grasp modern technologies, evaluate emerging technologies for business challenges, and contribute to project deliverables.
• Provide and receive constructive feedback regarding the quality of architectural artifacts, embracing opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Manage stakeholder communication by presenting complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 14 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Over five years of collective experience in applying architecture, enterprise roadmaps, analytics, cloud, IT strategies, innovation, and agile/waterfall methodologies.
• Expertise in:
  • Architecting, building, and administering complex architectures and distributed technologies.
  • Architecting scalable containerized applications with container orchestration frameworks.
  • DevOps methodologies and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
• Experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

MUST-HAVE: Must have 3 out of 5 skills: Infrastructure, Cloud, Networking, Platform, AI.
Remaining 2 are mandatory.
To effectively fulfill the role, proficiency in the following areas is required:

1. Security (MUST HAVE):
   1. Implementation of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and security best practices.
   1. Proficiency in compliance frameworks and penetration testing.
2. Infrastructure:
   1. Design of scalable infrastructure and virtualization/container orchestration.
   1. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and disaster recovery strategies.
3. Cloud:
   1. Experience with major cloud providers and migrations.
   1. Certifications and skills in cloud-native architectures and cost optimization.
4. Networking:
   1. Knowledge of network protocols and Software-Defined Networking (SDN).
   1. Design of performance-optimized and secure network architectures.
5. Platform:
   1. Experience with Platform as a Service (PaaS), DevOps, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
   1. Skills in platform integration and ecosystem development.
6. AI:
   1. Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and ethical AI practices.
   1. Design of AI solutions including data management and model deployment.
7. Architecture Practice & Delivery (MUST HAVE):
   1. Defining, documenting, and using/advising on design patterns, component standards, and reference architectures.
