Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with strong financial product experience to collaborate with users in gathering requirements for various front and back-office applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to anticipate issues, verify enhancements, and troubleshoot production issues effectively.
Major Responsibilities:
- Engage with business users to understand and document their needs using various tools.
- Anticipate user needs and propose viable solutions and alternatives.
- Comprehend functional and non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams to build and test solutions.
- Maintain active communication channels with all stakeholders regarding deliverables and report statuses.
- Track and manage outstanding issues from initiation to production deployment.
- Prioritize and allocate resources effectively for enhancement requests and production issues.
- Adhere to industry-standard Business Analyst best practices, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
Skills:
- Working knowledge of the financial industry.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools.
- Experience with JIRA and familiarity with Agile methodology.
- SQL knowledge and data mining skills.
- Application support experience.
