Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer/Architect to join our team in Peachtree City, Georgia. As an integral member of our development team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Android applications with a focus on the automotive domain, particularly Android Automotive.

Must Have Skills:

  1. 10+ years’ experience in C++ (STL, Templates, Exceptions, Threading), Java, Python
  2. Experience with Android CTS/VTS
  3. Automotive Domain, especially Android Automotive

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your extensive experience in C++, Java, and Python to design and develop robust Android applications.
  • Implement Component/System Design principles including SOLID principles and Design Patterns.
  • Apply your expertise in the Automotive Domain, particularly Android Automotive, to create innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Android Framework, Car Service, Android Treble, VNDK, AIDL, HIDL.
  • Implement Custom HAL (e.g., Radio, Vehicle, Audio, GNSS).
  • Ensure compliance with Android CTS/VTS standards.
  • Participate in Android OS migration efforts and contribute to enhancing Android security, including SELinux, FBE, and FDE.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven track record with 10+ years of experience in C++, Java, and Python.
  • Experience in Component/System Design, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.
  • Strong background in the Automotive Domain, especially Android Automotive.
  • Familiarity with Android Framework components such as Car Service, Android Treble, VNDK, AIDL, HIDL.
  • Proficiency in implementing Custom HALs for various functionalities.
  • Experience with Android CTS/VTS testing.
  • Knowledge of Android OS migration processes and Android security measures.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
